The rotating QR that can't be faked
Most attendance apps hand out a code anyone can screenshot and share. Classable rotates it every few seconds and checks it against the live session — so "present" actually means present.
Rotates every 30 seconds
A time-based (TOTP) token regenerates constantly. A shared screenshot is stale before it reaches a friend.
Validated against a live session
The server accepts a scan only if the token is current and the session is actually running — nothing else marks a student present.
Any screen becomes a kiosk
