QR codes and student check-in

The QR codes page creates a printable or on-screen check-in code for a live session or event.

Generate a QR code

1. Open QR codes from the sidebar.
2. Pick a live session or event to generate for.
3. Style it with a brand color, a frame style (Plain, Card, Poster or Ticket) and options like a center logo.
4. Use "Print" or "Download PNG" to hand it out or display it.

How a student checks in

1. The student scans the class QR with their phone camera, which opens the check-in page.
2. They tap their name in the class list.
3. The first time, they enter the 6-character access code from their teacher (it is remembered for next time).
4. They see a confirmation that they are checked in.

Note: If a rotating code has changed, the student sees "Code expired — rescan the QR". Just have them scan the current code again.
