School / university vs course provider
Two organization profiles with different labels and modules.
An organization in Classable has a profile that fits the kind of teaching you run. It changes the words you see across the app and which academic modules are available.
School / University
The default profile for schools and universities. It uses Class, Student and Teacher labels and gives you the full academic set: subjects, terms, the gradebook, grades, and report cards.
Course provider
Built for training centres and course providers. It uses Course, Participant and Instructor labels and organises learning by levels. A course-provider profile does not include the gradebook, subjects, terms, grades or report cards — the focus is attendance and running courses, not a school gradebook.
Choosing a profile
Pick the profile that matches what you run. Attendance, QR/kiosk check-in, events, chat, announcements and reporting work in both; the difference is the labels and whether the full gradebook stack is present.
