Reading the dashboard

The Dashboard is the first thing you see. It gives a live, at-a-glance view of attendance.

Top cards

• Active now — how many sessions are live right now.
• Checked in today — students marked present or late today.
• Avg attendance — the average attendance rate across recent ended sessions.
• Students / Staff — your total students and teachers.

Panels

• Live now — each live session with its present/enrolled count; click to open its kiosk.
• Attendance trend — a bar chart across recent ended sessions.
• At-risk students — students flagged by the rule-based at-risk check.
• Quick actions — shortcuts to start a session, QR codes and Reports.

Note: "At risk" is a simple rule-based flag (not AI). A student is flagged when any of these is true: attendance below 80%, 3 or more consecutive absences, or a below-passing grade. An excused absence does not count toward a consecutive-absence streak.
