Events
One-off gatherings with open, name-only QR check-in.
An event is a one-off gathering such as an open day or fair. Unlike a class session, anyone can check in to an event by scanning its QR and entering their name — no account needed.
Create an event
- Open Events and click "New event".
- Enter a name, location and description, and pick a QR mode (rotating or static).
- Save. The event starts as a draft.
Both owners and teachers can create events.
Running it
Click "Go live" to accept check-ins and "Stop" to end. The event page shows a live check-in count and list, lets you open the QR studio, and exports check-ins as CSV or PDF.
Who can manage an event
Go live, Stop, Edit and Delete are shown only to the school owner or the person who created the event. Any staff member can open a live event’s QR.
The QR card
You can produce an event’s QR before it goes live, so it’s printed and ready. From QR codes you download it as a branded card (your brand color, logo and "Scan to check in").
