Joining a school with a code

Besides email invitations, a school can hand out a join code so people can add themselves. This is the quickest way to bring in a group.

As the person joining

1. Sign in (or create an account first — you don’t need a school to sign up).
2. On the home screen, paste the code into the single code box and continue.
3. You’re added to the school with the role the code is set for.

As an Owner: your school’s code

Owners find the join code on the Teachers page. You can copy it to share, and rotate it at any time — rotating immediately invalidates the old code, so anyone you no longer want joining can’t use a code you shared earlier.

Note: A code only ever grants the role it is meant for. It can never make someone an Owner, and joining by code still goes through the same checks as an invitation.
