Attendance marking methods
Choose between Kiosk, Self check-in and Manual.
Your school picks how attendance is taken. The method is a school-wide setting, not chosen per session. Owners set it in Settings under Attendance rules.
The three methods
- Kiosk — a shared device shows a QR code; students scan it to mark in.
- Self check-in — students mark themselves in from their own device.
- Manual — teachers mark attendance by hand; QR/self check-in is turned off.
Choosing one
Use Kiosk for a shared classroom screen or tablet, Self check-in when every student has their own phone, and Manual when you prefer teachers to take the register directly.
Note: Under Manual, public QR and self check-ins are rejected — only teachers and owners can set attendance.
