Classable turns a student's marks into a report card you can hand out, and into a transcript that follows them across years.
Report cards
A report card summarises a student's results for a period. When your school uses academic terms, you can scope the report to a single term; otherwise it covers all time. It lists, per subject, the marks recorded, the resulting grade, the subject average and the credits, plus an overall summary:
- Credit/GPA systems (United States): GPA, cumulative GPA and total credits.
- Weighted-average systems (International, UK, Europe): an overall average.
- Honor roll status, and class rank where the student has a class and a rankable overall grade.
Transcripts
A transcript is the cumulative academic record across more than one academic year — the long-form history rather than a single term. It gathers the student's grades over time into one document.
Downloading
Open a student from the Students or Reports page and download their report. The report card / transcript is produced as a PDF; the combined student report is also available as CSV and Excel. You can email a report card to parents, or share a read-only parent link (see "Sending a report to a parent").
