You don’t need a school to start

You can create an account without belonging to any school yet. When you sign in with no school, you land on a simple home screen with two choices: create a new school, or join an existing one.

• Create a school — you become its Owner and can set everything up.
• Join a school — enter the code your school gave you (see "Joining a school with a code").

You can also just wait: if someone invites you by email, the pending invitation appears here the next time you sign in, ready to accept.

Note: You can always sign out from this screen, and you can belong to several schools at once and switch between them later.
