What Classable is
A quick overview of the school attendance and grading platform.
Classable is an all-in-one platform for running a school. You track who shows up (attendance), record marks and produce report cards (grading), keep your people and classes organised, and communicate with your team and parents — all from one place.
Everything is organised around your school (also called an organization). You can belong to more than one school and switch between them at any time.
The main areas
- Dashboard — a live snapshot of attendance right now, plus students at risk of falling behind.
- Catalog (Grades, Classes, Subjects, Gradebook) — the academic structure of your school.
- Teaching (Sessions, Kiosk, Events, QR codes, Timetable) — how you run and record classes.
- People (Students, Teachers, Roles & Access) — everyone in your school.
- Insights (Reports, Statistics, Timesheet) — attendance and grade analysis, plus teaching hours.
- Organization (Branches, School, Plan & billing, Audit log) — school-wide settings and administration.
- Communication (Messages, Announcements) — chat and broadcasts.
Note: Every plan includes all of these areas (Gradebook, Statistics, Events, Branches, the Audit log and the rest). Higher plans only raise your student limit — which menu items you see depends on your role, not your plan.
