Signing in: password, Google and email verification
The ways to sign in, and why we verify your email.
You can sign in to Classable in two ways, and you can use whichever you prefer.
Email and password
Register with your email address and a password. The first time you register we send a verification link to that address — open it to confirm the email is really yours.
Sign in with Google
Choose "Continue with Google" and pick your Google account. If it is your first time, an account is created for you and your email is already verified (Google has confirmed it), so there is nothing else to do.
Why email verification matters
Verifying your email protects your account and is required before you can accept an invitation to join a school — it stops someone adding an address they do not control. If your link expired, you can request a fresh one from the sign-in screen.
Note: If you already have a password account and later use "Continue with Google" with the same email, we ask you to confirm before linking the two — we never merge accounts silently.
