Finding your way around
The sidebar, top bar, workspace switcher and search.
The app has a sidebar on the left and a top bar across the top. The sidebar groups features into sections (Communication, Catalog, Teaching, People, Insights, Organization). What you see depends on your role — every plan includes all sections.
The top bar
- Workspace switcher — shows the current school and lets you switch to another one or create a new school.
- Notification bell — new activity that concerns you (see the Notifications article).
- Your profile — access to Settings and signing out.
On mobile
On a phone the sidebar collapses. Tap the menu (hamburger) button in the top bar to open the navigation drawer, and tap any item to jump there.
