Grading systems (countries)
The built-in systems: International, US, UK and Europe.
Your school picks a grading system, which decides how marks turn into grades, averages and GPA. Owners choose it in Settings under Grading system. Marks themselves never change — only how they are displayed and totalled.
International Default
A numeric system on a 0–10 scale with a weighted average. No letters, no GPA and no credits. This is the default.
United States
Letter grades A–F with plus/minus and a 4.0 GPA using credits. It has three levels, chosen per study year (Grade): High school (weighted GPA with an honors/AP/IB bonus), College (unweighted GPA), and K-8 (a 1–4 mastery scale, no GPA). Honor roll is awarded above a GPA threshold.
United Kingdom
GCSE reformed grades 9–1 (with U as ungraded) using a weighted average; grade 4 is a standard pass. A-level uses A*–E for College-level study years.
Europe (ECTS)
A pan-European A–F scale (with FX as a marginal fail) using a weighted average; 50 is the pass mark.
Picking one
- Open Settings and go to Grading system.
- Choose a country preset from the dropdown.
- For US/UK systems, set each study year’s Level (on the Grades page) so the right rules apply.
